Horrendous

I am curious why you just pretended like everything was fine after you heard 2 public speaker's testimonies regarding a 5-year-old in this county who claims to have been through horrendous trauma. I don't mean horrendous, like that beverage line you referred to at our concert venue, but truly horrendous crimes against humanity.
You seemed extremely nervous as you carried on talking about "Juliana speaking" right after hearing this. Your voice even shakes. What is Juliana speaking, anyway? Or are you speaking of an actual person? Sometimes we tell on ourselves, and I have to say, your response, or lack thereof, to hearing the allegations made by this kindergartner, has been very telling.
What if this kind of thing happened to your dogs at doggie daycare? Would you step in to protect them? Or would you stay silent on the matter and pretend it didn't happen, as you ramble on about what's great about Greeley? Would you allow them, and other daycare dogs, to continue being violated in the worst ways?
How would your church respond, if they saw this reaction out of you? How would your insurance clients feel if they saw your lack of concern? Or lack of action? Or even your lack of acknowledgment? As it stands, your business already has a less than stellar reputation in town.
So much for "like a good neighbor", I guess.
Don't you feel odd having to walk around this elephant in the room, while pretending to be "so excited" about the most mundane and irrelevant things going on around us, and demanding that something be done about that “horrendous” drink line at Union Colony Civic Center?
